HP White Laboratory, Inc., the world’s largest independent laboratory tests, ballistics and armor, today announced the creation of standardized methods for measuring the power armor areal density. A new method for density standard body armor area (HPW-AD01-11) utilizes state-of-the-art laser scanning technology to capture 3-dimensional digital image of armor panel, which makes measuring the right area.
